Loretta Gail Clark of Sparks, Nevada, died Aug. 6, 2023, at the age of 88 years. Loretta is survived by her son, Blair, and his wife Iole; her granddaughters, Anna, and Bailey; her sister Virginia and her nieces and nephews, Suzy, Steven, Loretta, Debi, Susan, Glenn, and Dennis.
Loretta was born March 15, 1935, in Portola, California. A woman of many interests, talents and hobbies, Loretta enjoyed spending time with all her family, especially her beloved late husband of 63 years, Orville, and their son Blair.
Always a devoted and loving mother, her natural curiosity and artistic flare inspired Blair to pursue a career in the creative field. Those who knew Loretta, knew she was also a deeply spiritual person, a faithful and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in which she served in many ways, making treasured lifelong friends.
Loretta also had a deep love and concern for all animals, supporting countless animal charities, while doting particularly on family pets; even breeding dachshunds in the past.
Loretta, a vital, supportive, and loving mother, grandmother, and aunt will be deeply missed. A service will be held to commemorate Loretta at noon Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 935 Mercedes Drive, Sparks, Nevada.
