May 8 golf tournament benefits Jenni Uruburu

A Saturday, May 8 Golf tournament is raising funds for Jenni Uruburu, from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office prevention and education program.

“The Deputy Sheriff’s Association is hosting a golf tournament to help Jenni Uruburu and her family with expenses as she battles cancer,” read a Wednesday post from the Lassen County Deputy Sheriff’s Association. “Jenni is a beloved member of the Sheriff’s Office family and has given selflessly to our community her whole life. Please join us in supporting her family in their time of need.”

The event will have registration at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. There will be raffles and lunch is included.
