Russ Brown took the oath of office as the Susanville City Council’s newest member at the council’s special meeting at noon Wednesday, June 29.
By a 3-2 vote, Quincy McCourt was elected mayor and Thomas Herrera was elected mayor pro tem. McCourt, Herrera and Kevin Stafford voted aye and Russ Brown and Mendy Schuster voted nay.
