The Monticola Club offers scholarships to graduating Lassen High School and Lassen Community College students.
Three $500 scholarships are offered to LHS students – the first, a vocational scholarship is available to a student planning to attend an accredited vocational school or college; the second and third, the Monticola Memorial and Spencer Memorial scholarships, are available to graduating LHS students seeking higher education at a two- or four-year college or university.
LHS students interested in applying for these scholarships should contact the LHS guidance office for the appropriate application. The deadline for these applications to be returned to the high school guidance office is 4 p.m. Friday, March 24.
The Etta Tarry Memorial Scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to a Lassen Community College graduate continuing his or her education at a four-year college or university. Interested students should contact the LCC Financial Aid Office for an application. The deadline for the completed application to be returned to the college Financial Aid Office is 4 p.m. Friday, March 24.
