Project: Lassen County has initiated the process of amending the safety element of the existing Lassen County General Plan, and is opening a period of public review for the draft of said safety element and its associated draft negative declaration with supporting initial study.
Location: Countywide

Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Lassen County is the Lead Agency for the project identified above and is preparing a Negative Declaration, stating that the proposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment.

All interested persons and agencies are invited to submit written comments on the draft documents to the Department of Planning and Building Services, at 707 Nevada Street, Suite 5, Susanville, California 96130, by December 19, 2022.
