Notice of Public Hearing – Lassen County Board of Supervisors

The Lassen County Board of Supervisors solicits the aid of public agencies and the general public in consideration of the following item:

Applicant: Lassen County

File: 318.01.76, Classification of Alpacas as Large Animals

Project: Proposed Ordinance amending Sections 18.108.230 (Keeping animals-Special provisions) 

and Section 18.14.1110 (Small livestock farming) of the Lassen County Code. The proposed ordinance is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant CEQA Guidelines Subsection 15061(b)(3). 

Location: Lassen County

A.P.N.’s: The ordinance would be applicable in all unincorporated areas of Lassen County.

The Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on this item at 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026,  in the Board Chambers, 707 Nevada Street, Susanville, California.
