The number of COVID-19 cases in Lassen County continues to fall, according to Lassen Cares, the organization that tracks COVID-19 in Lassen County.
As of 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, Lassen Cares reports 294 active cases — down from 299.
These numbers are the most recent reported by Lassen Cares.
Lassen County COVID-19 counts
• 294 active cases;
• 26 new cases;
• 5,332 recovered cases;
•Four currently hospitalized;
• 60 deaths;
• 5,690 total cases;
•36 percent fully vaccinated active cases;
• 0 percent fully vaccinated hospitalized; and
• 8,564 vaccine doses administered (only reflects vaccine doses administered by Lassen County Public Health).
Correctional Institution Cases
There has been a total of 4,229 inmate cases in Lassen County. According to the numbers reported by Lassen

• 1,520 recovered cases.
High Desert State Prison
• Nine active cases;
• 2,085 recovered cases; and
• Two deaths.
