Number of registered voters in California rises

Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D., released the latest Report of Registration which reflects data as of Oct. 3, 2023.

A total of 22,114,456 Californians are registered to vote – which is 82.91 percent of eligible Californians – compared to 80.65 percent at the same point before a presidential primary election four years ago.

The Report of Registration is a compilation of voter registration numbers reported by California’s 58 county elections offices.
