Michelle Ann Cordova
Michelle Ann Cordova, age 58, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Cordova; four children, Mistie, Melissa, Chris and Daniel Cordova; 11 grandchildren; sister, Lynn Morris; and many other friends and family who she held close to her heart. Michelle is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Audrie Richardson, along with her grandson, Marcus Cordova.
She and her family moved to Lassen County in 1991, where she resided until the Lord called her home.
Michelle was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by many. She had a one of a kind personality that could win anyone over and a smile that could instantly make you smile in return.
A funeral service will be held at Walton’s Colonial Mortuary, 115 S. Lassen St. Susanville, CA 96130 at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 24. A potluck style reception will follow across the street at the Monticola Club, 140 S. Lassen St. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Michelle’s life.
A GoFundMe account was created in Michelle’s name to help the family with final expenses.
Joseph Rafael Barriga-Crawford
Joseph Rafael Barriga- Crawford, age 26, from Susanville, was taken to be an angel after a tragic accident. Joe went missing on May 23, 2017 in Willow Creek, California, where he was staying with family. After 17 days, he was found in the Trinity River.
Joe had the kindest heart and a smile that lit up a room. He would do anything just to make you laugh. His passion was riding dirt bikes or just hanging out drinking a beer. He will be missed deeply by many. His mother, Terri (Haynes) White; stepfather, Daniel White; father, Joe Crawford Sr.; sister, Alicia (Bussell) Audelo; husband, Ruben Audelo; sisters, Natasha Bussell and Sabrina; nieces, Anevay and Aiyana Audelo; nephew, Daniel Audelo; grandparents, Donald and Bonnie Haynes; grandma, Patty Ramos (Crawford); aunties, Sharon and Gene Mace, Carolyn and Spam Ferris, Katherine and Darwin Reid, Julia Rodriguez, Sara Magana and Sukie Salee; uncles, Jimmy Ramos, Jose Magana; and many, many cousins and numerous friends who will miss his presence.
In honor of Joe, there will only be a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. June 24 at the T&A bar in Susanville.
