Oregon man arrested for pointing a gun at another vehicle on Highway 44

According to the CHP Susanville Facebook page, James Ingledue, 54, of Grants Pass, Oregon, is in custody for allegedly pointing a firearm at an occupied vehicle on a public highway and concealing a loaded firearm in a vehicle. An unidentified passenger was cited for possessing a concealed firearm in a vehicle and released.

According to the CHP’s Facebook posty, at approximately 11:25 a.m. Saturday, April 30, Susanville CHP dispatch received a report the driver of a vehicle traveling eastbound on Highway 44 pointed a handgun at the reporting party as they passed. CHP officers immediately began looking for the suspect vehicle and located it traveling east through Susanville.

CHP officers conducted an enforcement stop in the Susanville Jack-in-the-Box parking lot and two subjects were detained. During their investigation, two loaded firearms were located. The occupants and victims of the reporting party’s vehicle were interviewed and provided statements.
