Plumas County Sheriff’s Office seeks information on missing teens

The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s assistance in locating two missing runaway juveniles.

Sophia Kortangian, 16, and Aideyn Knudson, 16, have been reported missing from the Quincy area Wednesday evening, July 5, 2023, and are believed to have run away together. It is suspected that they may be in the Quincy or Portola area.

The PCSO requests your support in spreading the word and keeping an eye out for Kortangian and Knudson. Any information or leads you may have could be crucial in locating them and ensuring their safety.

Sophia Kortangian is described as a 16-year-old girl, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue, green and red sweatshirt, along with black shorts.

Aideyn Knudson is described as a 16-year-old boy, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue tank top and shorts.
