NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND HEARING
The Plumas County Community Development Commission (PCCDC) invites public comment on the Commission’s Annual Plan for the Housing Choice Voucher and Public Housing Programs for the period 7/1/2018 to 6/30/2019. These documents will be available for review during normal business hours at PCCDC’s main office, 183 West Main Street, Quincy, CA 95971.
The PCCDC Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing and will consider adoption of the Plan at a Regular Meeting on March 20, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers – 3rd floor, County Court House, 520 W. Main St. Quincy, CA. The Plan reviews the program goals of the previous Year’s Plan and sets goals for next year.

The Forest Service intends to advertise timber designated for cutting in the following timber sale prior to March 1, 2018. The Minerva 5 Fire Salvage timber sale is part of the Minerva 5 Fire Salvage Project, located on the Plumas National Forest, Mount Hough Ranger District within T24N, R9E, Sections 26-28 and 33-35, MDM.
The Minerva 5 Fire Salvage timber sale boundary encompasses 477 acres with 183.4 treatment acres and an estimated total of (3,217 MBF) 5,244 CCF net saw timber and 717 CCF biomass volume. The approximate saw timber species composition is as follows: Sugar Pine at 27% with 1,435 net CCF, White Fir/Red Fir at 22% with 1,143 net CCF, Ponderosa Pine at 22% with 1,137 net CCF, Douglas Fir at 20% with 1,039 net CCF, and Incense Cedar at 9% with 488 net CCF. This will be a scaled sale.
This advance notice is to afford interested parties additional time to examine the contract area. Interested parties may obtain Minerva 5 Fire Salvage timber sale information and map from the Mount Hough Ranger District, 39696 State Highway 70, Quincy, CA 95971. The final advertisement will contain final minimum stumpage rates, solicitation package, and other timber sale contract conditions.

Plumas County Behavioral Health Commission to hold a
Public Hearing on
the draft Mental Health Services Act Annual Update, 2017-18
Notice is hereby given that Plumas County Behavioral Health is opening a public comment period from February 5 to March 7, 2018, on the draft Mental Health Services Act Annual Update, 2017-18. The Plumas County Behavioral Health Commission will schedule a public hearing for discussion and stakeholder feedback on the Draft document.
The MHSA Annual Update, 2017-18 is a progress report provided to County stakeholders concerning program activity that took place during FY2016-17 and an opportunity for the County to make proposed changes to the approved MHSA Program and Expenditure Plan, 2017-20. The hearing will take place during the BH Commission regular meeting at 12:00 p.m. noon on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at the Plumas County Main Library Meeting Room, 445 Jackson Street, Quincy, California, At the hearing, the Commission will accept stakeholder feedback and receive written comments on the draft Annual Update.
