Police Department releases February crime statistics

The Susanville Police Department has released its February 2022 crime statistics.

According to a statement from the SPD, officers issued 61 citations last month — zero infractions, 15 misdemeanors, 35 traffic violations and 11 parking violations.

Officers responded to 911 incidents — 340 calls for service, 571 officer initiated incidents, 461 business/building checks and seven vehicle/pedestrian checks.

Officers took 99 reports — five collisions, 53 criminal, 34 information and seven unclassified.

Officers made 26 arrests — 23 misdemeanor (22 adult and one juvenile) and three adult felony arrests.
