Police seek information regarding Walgreens robbery

The Susanville Police Department is seeking information regarding a reported robbery at Walgreen.

About 9:35 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, officers responded to a report of a robbery that occurred at the Walgreens store. When officers arrived they did not locate anyone in the area, according to a statement from the Susanville Police Department.

The clerk working the register at Walgreens told officers a person walked in the store wearing black pants and a camouflage hooded sweatshirt that covered his face, according to the statement. The person walked around the store for a few minutes and approached the counter with an item. The clerk was unable to see the suspect’s face and noticed he was wearing black gloves. Then the suspect allegedly pulled a black semi-auto pistol and pointed it at her. The Clerk put the money in the register in a Walgreens bag. The suspect walked out of the store.

The little information for the suspect, the suspect appears to be approximately 5’9” and a slender build. The case is still under investigation.
