Police seek public’s help in rash of vehicle vandalism

The Susanville Police Department is asking the public for its help identifying those responsible for a number of vandalized vehicles on Cameron Way.

When officers responded about 9 a.m. Sunday, May 4 to a report of a vandalized vehicle, officers discovered another seven vandalized vehicles, according to a statement from the SPD.

“We are actively investigating this matter and asking for the public’s assistance in this investigation,” read the statement. “If citizens in this area of Susanville have video surveillance cameras on their property, please review them. Please contact us if you observed any suspicious activity on Cameron Way or the surrounding area last night. We can be reached through our dispatch center at 257-2171.”
