You are invited to a workshop to receive your suggestions and answer questions concerning the establishment and operation of a water treatment facility to remove arsenic from the District’s drinking water.
The construction and operation of this facility will increase your water rates so it is important that you contribute to the discussion.

Farr West Engineering has completed a Feasibility Study describing technologies and possible locations for a water treatment plant that will lower the arsenic concentration in our drinking water to levels below the Federal Maximum Contaminate Level (MCL). The report was required by the California Water Resources Control Board as a follow up an Engineering Report completed in April 2017. The PECSD Board of Directors and Farr West Engineering will answer questions and take your suggestions for locating, building and operation the facility
In addition to oral comments, written comments will be accepted at the meeting, or may be sent to Plumas Eureka CSD.
The feasibility report titled, “Technical Memorandum, Plumas Eureka Community Services District, Arsenic Mitigation-Preferred Alternative Evaluation” can be found on our website, www.pecsd.org. We strongly urge you to read the report prior to coming to the meeting.

The City Council of the City of Portola will hold a public hearing to receive public input and consider adoption of the final budget Fiscal Year 2017/2018 and the 2017/2018 Fee Schedule. The hearing will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 35 Third Avenue, Portola, California.

NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Beckwourth Fire District has adopted a preliminary fiscal year 2017/2018 budget for: (1) Salaries and wages, (2) Services and Supplies, and (3) Fixed Assets. The preliminary budge can be inspected during week days (Monday thru Friday) at the FIRE STATION located at 180 Main Street, Beckwourth, CA between the hours of 8:00 AM – 12:00 (Noon). The said Board of Directors will meet at the FIRE STATION on September 21, 2017 at 6:30 PM for purpose of fixing the 2017/2018 final budget for said Fire District at which time and place any taxpayer in the district may appear and be heard regarding the increase, decrease or omission of any item of the budget, or for the inclusion of additional items.

Budget Notification
The Graeagle Fire Protection District, on June 15, 2017, adopted a preliminary budget; the budget may be viewed at the GFPD station located at 7620 Highway 89, Graeagle, CA on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9am and 12 Noon. The GFPD Board of Directors will meet on August 17, 2017 to adopt the final budget; any person may appear at that meeting to be heard regarding any item on the budget or additions to the budget.
