The local of the Susanville Indian Rancheria’s 12th annual PowWow, held Oct. 22-24, has been changed to Lassen Community College Sports Complex.
The Grand Entry will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23 and at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24.
Buffalo Hill will be the Host Drum. Tasha Goodwill, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, will be the Head Woman, and Sam Slickpoo, of Sioux Falls, will be the Head Man. Fred Hill will be the Emcee and Jerry Bear will be the Arena Director.
This is a drug and alcohol free event that will follow COVID-19 safety guidelines.
