Local golfers can enjoy a round on the links to benefit a local girl waiting for a kidney transplant.

Main Street Lube, 1719 Main Street, sponsors the Halloween Golf For Grace Tournament Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Diamond Mountain Golf Club. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the scramble tournament begins at 10 a.m.
The fee is $100 per person or $400 per foursome. The first place team will win $400 and the second place team will win $300. Prizes will also be awarded for the Best Individual Costume and the Best Team Costume.
Participants should sign up at Main Street Lube or the Diamond Mountain Golf Course by Wednesday, Oct. 28.
According to a flyer on the event, “All funds received will be donated to support Grace Steward, 11, and her long journey to recovery. Steward is on an organ donor list to receive a kidney. She needs our support to continue to receive the best care possible at UC Davis Medical Center.”
The event also includes a raffle and Marci’s Street Tacos will be available at the clubhouse from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
