The 2022 Honey Lake Valley Community Pool open season has come to an abrupt end due to pump motor failure, according to a statement from the city of Susanville.
According to the statement, “The staff at the Honey Lake Valley Community Pool want to thank our community, swimmers and patrons for their understanding on this early season closure.
“The Honey Lake Valley Community Pool had a successful season that included the Lassen Volcanoes Swim Team and the Lassen High School Swim Team both back in the water. The 2022 season opened in April and included additional program availability and welcomed annual swim lessons for all ages and experience levels.
“The Honey Lake Valley Community Pool is looking forward to seeing everyone back in the water in 2023.”
