Raymond J. Warner (Ray) passed from this life on January 29th. He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Nancy Warner. Ray was born on October 12, 1972 at Washoe Medical Center, Reno, Nevada.
Ray was a member of a military family. He did not really like having to move so many times. After his father retired from the Air Force, the family settled in Doyle, where he and his brother attended the Herlong High School.
He later attended Lassen Community College. Then he was hired at Sierra Army Depot, and worked there for a few years on the hill help to detonate explosives. But, his true love was cooking, he worked at that for many years at the Bowling Alley, and then at the Skeddal Inn.
He left many friends and family, we will miss him very much. Services will be 10 am May 27th at the Doyle Cemetery, with a celebration of life at the Doyle Community Center at 12 noon. Please feel free to join us and share funny stories with us.
