About 2,000 children attended the city of Susanville’s Safe and Sane Halloween in the Park at Frank Ernaga Ball Field Friday, Oct. 30, according to Jolene Arredondo, assistant to the city administrator.
“I’ve been getting really good feedback,” Arredondo said, noting both event attendees as well as organizations and agencies that participated handing out candy had positive remarks about the event.
About 46 different businesses, organizations and agencies set up booths at the ball field to pass out candy to local costumed youth.
