Santa’s Sleigh Day promotion nears

The holiday shopping season is officially under way, and the Lassen County Times’ advertising staff has put together the annual Santa’s Sleigh Days Shop Local Promotion to help local business owners kick off the holiday season.

This year’s promotion will kick off Tuesday, Dec. 3 and go through Friday, Dec. 6. You’ll find the special supplement in the Dec. 3 and Dec. 4 editions of the Lassen County Times, Westwood PinePress and the Chester Progressive. Inside you’ll find ads showcasing all the great specials the merchants have put together. Just enter to win your share of the $500 in shopping spree giveaways.

First, visit as many merchants as possible, and enter the free drawing to win a $100 shopping spree, one of six $50 shopping sprees or one of four $25 shopping sprees. Plus, this year the team decided to do something different, so instead of us doing the complimentary treats on Dec. 6, our sponsors will be providing their own, which has allowed us to give our sponsors their own in-store shopping spree drawings just for their stores.

By doing this, it increases our prize money to more than $1,500 for everyone to share. Also some of the stores like Pet Station will be doing a drawing for a gift basket, Billington Ace does a $100 gift certificate and Zaengles Carpet One Floor & Home does a $250 gift certificate and so much more. All winners will get Santa’s Sleigh Days funny money to be spent at the participating merchants.

Be sure to mark your calendar to read the special Santa’s Sleigh Days insert in the Lassen County, Westwood PinePress and the Chester Progressive the week of Dec. 3 and Dec. 4, and start shopping all week long to win your share of the shopping spree prize money, and save on great gifts throughout the community.

We want to thank all of our participating sponsors for your support and putting together some fabulous shopping promotions. We encourage all of our readers to hit the town and discover the many wonderful and affordable presents you can give, while doing your part to keep our quaint mountain community prosperous!
