The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office and Susanville Police Department are still actively searching for Matthew Brown, who is also known as “Ash,” 19, of Susanville, according to a Tuesday, March 16 statement from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office. Ash was last seen at Susanville Ranch Park on March 12. Ash was entered into the missing person’s database by the LCSO on March 31.

The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office, members of “Cowboy 911,” volunteers from the Susanville Fire Department, and many citizen volunteers, have scoured Susanville Ranch Park and the area immediately surrounding it on foot, on motorized vehicles, with horses and with drones, the statement continued.
Ash has not been located, and the Susanville Police Department and LCSO continue to investigate this case.
According to the statement from the Susanville Police Department issued Monday, Brown’s possible clothing description is as follows: Dark grey hoodie, black shoes, black or dark blue backpack, and a sleeping bag or multi-color quilt.
