Sierra Nevada Conservancy Board meets Thursday, Sept. 2
The Sierra Nevada Conservancy, a California state agency, will host a governing Board meeting via Zoom webinar at 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2.
At the meeting, SNC’s governing board will consider awarding $282,380 to the Huntington-USC Institute on California and the West for a Sierra-Sequoia Burn Cooperative Prescribed Fire Training Exchange. Staff will also provide updates to the Board regarding recent legislative action and what is known about 2021 fire season impacts in the region.
The public is invited to participate in the Board meeting via Zoom Webinar (us02web.zoom.us/j/81019688085) or may listen to a live stream of the meeting via toll-free telephone at (877) 402-9757 (conference code: 347291). Public comments will be taken during each agenda item, and non-agenda-related questions and inquiries are allowed at the end of the meeting.
