Sierra Nevada Conservancy hosts virtual quarterly board meeting Sept. 10

The Sierra Nevada Conservancy, a California state agency, will host its quarterly governing board meeting via teleconference at 9 a.m. Sept. 10.

At the meeting, SNC staff will provide updates on a variety of topics including research conducted for the SNC by San Francisco State University on the impact of wildfire on regional tourism economies and the next steps towards defining a roadmap to resilience in the Sierra Nevada.

The public is invited to participate in the Board meeting via Zoom Webinar (zoom.us/j/99313326803) or may listen to a live stream of the meeting via toll-free telephone at (877) 402-9757 (conference code: 157321). Instructions on how to join the webinar or livestream of the meeting can be found on SNC’s website at sierranevada.ca.gov.

Public comments will be taken during each agenda item and non-agenda-related questions and inquiries are allowed at the end of the meeting.
