Smoke may be visible along Highway 36 as crews conduct burns

Lassen National Forest firefighters, along with Cal Fire Lassen Modoc Unit, are continuing to conduct burns along the eastern portion of Highway 36.

Throughout the next several days, smoke may be visible along the eastern portion of Highway 36. LNF and Cal Fire will be burning approximately 20 acres of piles around Roxie campground and Fredonyer pass, according to a Monday Lassen National Forest post.
