Detectives from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office have been working with investigators from the Fairfield Police Department to determine the whereabouts of Milton O’Neal — wanted by Solano County on murder and domestic violence charges.
FPD investigators provided pictures and a physical description of O’Neal, and information was developed that O’Neal may have been hiding in Lassen County in order to avoid arrest.
In the evening of Monday, April 3, deputies responded to assist for a medical aid type call at a residence in Herlong. Upon arrival, the deputy contacted an individual who matched O’Neal’s description. O’Neal provided afalse name and date of birth, but the deputy detained O’Neal and was able to positively identify him shortly there-after.
O’Neal was arrested without incident, and transported to the Lassen County Jail and booked on two separate Solano County warrants alleging murder and corporal injury to a spouse. He is being held in custody without bail.
