On Wednesday June 22, the Susanville Police Department conducted a Click it or Ticket traffic enforcement operation. Officers were on patrol actively looking for drivers and passengers who are not wearing a seat belt. This includes vehicles where children are not secured in child safety seats. The Susanville Police Department encourages everyone to wear a seatbelt while in a vehicle.
During the course of this traffic enforcement operation officers issued 11 traffic citations for seatbelt and other safety violations.
