The Susanville Police Department and the Lassen County Animal Shelter hosts the annual low-cost Rabies Licensing Clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 11 at Memorial Park in Susanville.
Both city and county residents may obtain licenses at the event. City licenses are $3.50 for altered animals and $8 for unaltered animals. County licenses are $5 for altered animals and $15 for unaltered animals.
The Thompson Peak Veterinary Clinic will provide rabies vaccinations for $10. A rabies vaccination certificate is required to obtain a license.
All dogs must be on a leash, and this is a cash only event.
