SPD releases April crime statistics

The Susanville Police Department has released crime statistic for April 2023.

According to the SPD, officers responded to 1,112 incidents (454 calls for service, 658 officer-initiated incidents and 475 business/building checks); made 112 officer reports (four collision, 69 criminal and 39 information); and made a total of 36 arrests (30 misdemeanor arrests, 27 adult and three juvenile; and six felony arrests, six adults).

Officers issued 89 citations (eight infractions, 16 misdemeanor, 45 traffic violations and 20 parking violations).

The front desk responded to 109 counter calls.
