SPD releases February crime statistics for February

The Susanville Police Department has released crime statistics for the month of February.

Incidents
According to the SPD, the department was involved in 1,425 total incidents — 403 calls for service; 1.022 officer-initiated incidents; 813 business/building checks and eight vehicle/pedestrian checks.

Officer reports
The SPD wrote 111 officer reports — eight collisions; 71 criminal; 30 information; and one unclassified.

Arrests
The SPD made 31 arrests – 17 misdemeanor (15 adult and two juvenile); and 14 felony (14 adult).

Citations
The SPD issued 76 citations — three infractions; 11 misdemeanors; 51 traffic; and nine parking.

The SPD has 104 front desk walk-in counter calls.
