SPD releases March crime statistics

The Susanville Police Department released its crime statistics for March 2023.

According to a statement from the SPD, the department recorded 1,264 incidents including 462 calls for service, 802 officer-initiated incidents, 643 business and building checks and five vehicle/pedestrian checks.

The department reported 108 officer reports including six collisions, 65 criminal, 37 information and zero unclassified.

The department reports 32 arrests including 22 adult misdemeanor and 10 felony adult.

The department. issued 65 citation including three infractions, 12 misdemeanor, 37 traffic violations and 13 parking violations.

The department also reported 116 counter calls.
