The Susanville Police Department released crime statistics for the month of January 2022.
According to the release, the SPD issued 109 citations in January — one infraction, 19 misdemeanors, 47 traffic violations and 42 parking violations.
According to the released patrol statistics, officers were involved in 1,121 incidents in January — 357 calls for service; 764 officer-initiated incidents; 647 business/building checks and four vehicle/pedestrian checks.
In January, officers created 93 reports — six collisions, 53 criminal, 29 information and five unclassified.
Officers made 31 misdemeanor and felony arrests. Misdemeanor arrests — 23 adults and two juveniles. Felony arrests — six adults and zero juveniles.
