Superior Court Judge Verderosa announces retirement

According to a statement from Lassen County Superior Court, effective June 3 Superior Court Judge Michele Verderosa will be retiring.

“It has been an honor and privilege to serve the citizens of Lassen County and the California Judiciary for the past six and half years,” read the statement.

In October 2010, then Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Verderosa to the position to fill the seat vacated by Stephen Bradbury.

She ran unopposed in 2012 and was re-elected.
