As of today, the Lassen County Fair is scheduled for July 15 though July 19 this year.
But there will be no carnival rides at this year’s fair, according to the Lassen County Fair’s website.
“Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 constraints and concern, the Lassen County Board of Supervisors has made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 carnival rides,” the fair announced on its website.
Richard Egan, Lassen County administrative officer, said the livestock events are expected to continue this year.
