The Lassen County Board of Supervisors will hear an appeal of the Lassen County Planning Commission’s approval of Use Permit Number 2019-011by Jagpreet (Jay) Singh, but the venue has been changed.
The venue for the above 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28 hearing has been changed. The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection is unexpectedly utilizing Jenson Hall at the Lassen County Fairgrounds for emergency operations for a nearby wildfire. The board of supervisors will not conduct the public hearing at Jenson Hall, as previously noticed, since it is uncertain if fire operations will be concluded prior to the hearing date.
Instead, the board will meet at the Veterans Memorial Building, 1205 Main Street, Susanville. The above referenced public hearing will be conducted at said location. The public hearing date and time are unchanged.
The approval permitted construction of a 9,100-square-foot retail store off of Old Highway Road near Doyle, California. The project site is located approximately one mile north of the Town of Doyle at 436-400 and 436-410 Old Highway Road (also known as Carol Drive) APNs 141-060-12, and 141-060-13.
