Supes hold public hearing on planning commission appeal
As the appeal body for the Planning Commission, the Lassen County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to consider the appeal at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, Jensen Hall, 195 Russell Ave, Susanville, California. All interested persons and agencies are invited to attend the meeting and be heard or to submit comments to the board of supervisors prior to the meeting, c/o Department of Planning and Building Services, 707 Nevada Street, Suite 5, Susanville, CA96130.
The Lassen Board of Supervisors solicits the aid of public agencies and the general public in consideration of the following item:
Applicant: Woodcrest Real Estate Ventures.
Property Owner: Frank Aragon and Brennan Moss.
File: Use Permit #2019-011, Negative Declaration #2019-007
Project: Appeal by Jagpreet Singh of the Planning Commission’s approval of use permit #2019-011. Said approval conditionally permitted construction of a 9,100-square-foot retail store off of Old Highway Road near Doyle.
Location: The project site is located approximately one mile north of the Town of Doyle at 436-400 and 436-410 Old Highway Road (also known as Carol Drive).
Zoning: The subject parcels are zoned A-1 (General Agricultural District) and have Extensive Agriculture and Scenic Corridor land use designations in the Lassen County General Plan, 2000.
