Supes hold special meeting in Bieber Tuesday

The Lassen County Board of Supervisors hold a special meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 25 at the Bieber Veterans Memorial Hall, 657-575 Bridge St. in Bieber.

Items on the agenda include public comment; a request by Supervisor Aaron Albaugh to adjourn the meeting at 10:45 a.m. to attend the 2023 Caltrans District 2 Workers Memorial and reconvene at 1 p.m. or a time certain to be determined by the chair; the consent calendar; approval of a letter of support of the Almanor Recreation and Park District’s annual Mile High cycling event using Lassen County roads; minutes of the March 14 and March 21 meetings; approval of an agreement with Champ Software for an electronic health care record system; the unfunding of two vacant public health positions; approval of an agreement with Housing tools related to the development of an affordable housing project; transfer of a surplus vehicle from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office to the Doyle Fire Protection District; correspondence; a report from the Agricultural Commissioner; a resolution regarding the deed restriction on the Veterans of Foreign Wars building in Herlong; a report on the county’s financial system; approval of a contract with Client First Technology Consulting; consider an agreement with Union Pacific Railroad regarding a grade crossing on Hackstaff Road; consideration of the purchase of traffic line paint; and consideration of the purchase of Motorola Radios for the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office.

The board’s next meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 9.
