Lassen County’s Board of Supervisors meet at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 9 at the Board Chambers, 77 Nevada St.
The board meets in closed session to discuss two items — conferences with legal counsel regarding significant exposure to litigation and two claims against Lassen County.
The board returns to open session at 9:30 a.m. with the approval of appointments to the Fall River Resource Conservation District followed by supervisorial appointments to a variety of boards and committees including the Behavioral Health Advisory Board; Public Risk Innovations Solutions Management; the Eagle Lake Interagency Board; the Emergency Medical Care Committee; the Honey Lake Recreation Authority; the Indian Gaming Local Community Benefit Committee; the Land Conservation Committee; the Lassen County Air Pollution Control District; the Lassen County Children and Families First Commission (First 5); the Lassen County Transportation Commission; the Lassen Transit Services Agency; the Lassen Regional Solid Waste Management Authority; the Lassen-Plumas-Sierra County Action Agency; the Northern California Emergency Medical Community Action Agency (Nor-Cal EMS); the Northern Rural Training and Employment Consortium (NorTEC); Planning and Service Area 2-Area Agency of Aging (PSA 2 AAA); the Trindel Insurance Fund; the Environmental Services Joint Power Agency (ESJPA); The California State Association of Counties (CSAC); the Long Valley Groundwater Management District; and the Big Valley Groundwater Advisory Committee.
Items on the Information/Consent Calendar include a request from Supervisor Chris Gallagher to designate $1,601.66 to the Westwood Clean-up; a recap of the Prison Trial Costs Reimbursement Items; and an application for a $45,640 grant to the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office for boating patrol services; and the minutes from the Nov. 15 board meeting.
The board’s next regularly scheduled meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17.
