Supes meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14

The Lassen County Board of Supervisors meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 with a closed session conference with legal counsel, if needed.

The public portion of the meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. Items on the agenda include Public Hearings (a proposed ordinance regarding kennels, a proposed ordinance regarding the recordation of use permit revocations, abandonment and authorizations to operate, first reading of an ordinance regarding the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office Military Equipment Use Policy); Matters set for Time Certain (Veterans Day Proclamation); Information / Consent Calendar (sale of tax defaulted property, minutes of the Oct. 10, Oct. 17, Oct. 24 meetings, authorized agents for CalOES or FEMA actions, financial aid agreed with the Division of Boating and Waterways for the LCSO, approval of new job description for the Community Services Officer, correspondence, and discretional funds — $1,000 from Supervisor Jason Ingram to Doyle Seniors); Department Reports (agreement between Department of Health Care Services and Lassen County for substance abuse disorder, agreement with the Department of Housing and Community Development and Lassen County regarding Permanent Local Housing Allocation, Housing and Grants Application Resolution, Drought Plan, status report on the Lassen County General Plan, Contingency funding for the Lassen County Historic Courthouse Renovation Project, amendment to the agreement with Lionakis Historic Courthouse Renovation Project, Courthouse Office Furniture purchase options, RFP for Lassen Jail medical services, Lassen and Plumas county radio integration project and information for the board of supervisors).
