The Lassen County Board of Supervisors meets tomorrow at 9 a.m. in the Board Chambers, 707 Nevada St.
The meeting begins with closed session at 9 a.m., but no items are listed for discussion.
The public portion of the meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. Items on the agenda include a 10 a.m. time certain for a Retirement Proclamation for MaryJo Streible; a recognition committee presentation for Stephanie Hranac (10 years); and Craig Hemphill, Christopher McNally (10 years). There will also be a Probation Services Week Proclamation.
At 10:15 a.m., the board will hear a Fire Insurance presentation by the California Department of insurance, and at 10:30 a.m., the board will receive an update of post-fire restoration activities on the Plumas National Forest.
The board will take a recess at 10:25 a.m.
Also on the agenda is the Information/ Consent Calendar. including consideration of a contract with Zito Media for private leased fiber; a transfer of excess tax proceeds from the 2022 tax sale; treasurer’s fund balance report and auditor’s verification for May 2023; treasurer’s investment report for May; approval of July 11 minutes; correspondence; Department Reports (district attorney end of year appropriation adjustment; and county administrative officer.
