Supes meet tomorrow

Lassen County’s Board of Supervisors meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19 at the Board Chambers, 707 Nevada St.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m. with a closed session if needed.

The public portion of the meeting begins at 9:30 a.m.

Items on the agenda include a public hearing and adopt a resolution to abandon/vacate a segment of Laurel Way and Palm Way; matters set for time certain (10 a.m. recognition awards; and 10:30 a.m. NorCal EMS presentation); Information Consent Calendar (discretionary funds donations — Supervisor Tom Neely, $250 to Volcanic Legacy Community Partnership and $1,000 to the American Legion Thomas Tucker Post 204; and Jason Ingram, $250 to Volcanic Legacy Community Partnership $500 to Lassen Grizzly Claybreakers and $250 to Shaffer Elementary School); Community Social Services agreement with Lassen Family Services; acquisition services  for Beaver Creek Bridge, Muddy Slough Bridge No. 1 and Muddy Slough Bridge No. 2; agreement with ECORP Consulting for A-2 rehab project; changes to sheriff’s department positions;) Department reports (Tyler/Minus update; Community Social Services agreement with  the California Department of Social Services; approval of courthouse furniture purchase); and information from county administrative office for supervisors); and correspondence.
