Supes meet tomorrow morning
The Lassen County Board of Supervisors meet at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, June 20, in the Supervisors’ Chambers, 707 Nevada St.
The meeting begins with a closed session at 9 a.m. Items on the agenda include a conference with legal counsel (if needed), an evaluation of the Office of Emergency Services Chief, and a discussion of five liability claims (Kandis Bigelow, Elizabeth Horan, Lassen County Office of Education, Kolby Loflin and BNSF Railway Company).
Open session begins at 9:30 a.m. Items on the agenda include public comment; a 10 a.m. public hearing to deny or uphold a Lassen County Planning Commission decision regarding an agricultural building near Ravendale; a 10 a.m. Employee Recognition (Timothy Heffley, 20 years; Robert Roadifer, 20 years); a presentation by the California Highway Patrol; a 10:25 a.m. recess; the information/consent calendar (Treasurer’s Investment Report; Fund Balance Report; minutes (May 23 and June 13); agreement with California Hearing Officers; an agreement with Crestwood Behavioral Health; PC purchases; Commercial Class A Drivers Training for three sheriff’s deputies; training for two staff to attend the Basic Law Enforcement Academy; the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistant Grant); Department Report from Public Works; an MOU between Washoe and Lassen counties regarding the Highway 395 Coalition; and approval of recommended budget and capital project expenditures.
The board’s next regularly scheduled meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 27.
