Supes special meeting at at 8 a.m. tomorrow at Jensen Hall includes many items
The Lassen County Supervisors holds a special meeting at 8 a.m. Tuesday May 9, at Jensen Hall on the Lassen County Fairgrounds.
The agenda for the day-long meeting, begins with time certain items: Charlton “Chuck” Bonham, director of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife is expected to make a presentation on “gray wolf activity and activities at the state level regarding wolf interactions and attacks of livestock and general information regarding CDFW,” at 8 a.m.
At 10:10 a.m. the board will receive the annual report from the Lassen County Children and Families Commission.
At 10:15 a.m. the board considers a proclamation for National Foster Care Month, followed by a short recess at 10:25 a.m.
The board will also consider a resolution from the Emergency Medical Care Committee and appointments to that committee and consider appointments to the Lassen County Children and Families Commission.
Items on the Consent Calendar include hiring of a senior public health nurse; an agreement regarding health and social services recordkeeping; a lease of property on Paul Bunyan Road; approving of a parcel map in Standish; a replacement vehicle purchase for the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office; and a change in the job description of the Community Services Officer.
Department reports include an agreement with Union Pacific Railroad regarding the crossing improvement at Hackstaff Road; and revised job descriptions for public works and road department employees.
The board will then meet in closed session for employee evaluations oof the director of child support services and county administrative officer.
The board’s next regularly scheduled meeting is planned for 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 16.
