Susanville Air Fair set for Saturday, Aug. 17

Susanville’s Air Fair will be held at 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17. Attendance is free to the public. Parking is free, too. In fact, there’s even a complimentary hayride to get families from the lot to the tarmac. Plus, for a small fee you can grab breakfast as early as 7 a.m.

There are also classic cars on display and vintage fire trucks the kiddos can explore. In addition to aircraft displays there will be radio control demonstrations and other exhibits. What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon?

Experimental Aircraft Association No. 794 sponsors the event. All proceeds from the breakfast will be used for the EAA scholarship fund to provide aviation education for local students.

Warbirds, antique aircraft and helicopters and more are sure to delight aviation aficionados of all ages at the 2019 Susanville Air Fair.
