Susanville City Council meets Wednesday, April 19
The Susanville City Council meets in the City Council Chambers, 66 N. Lassen St. Wednesday, April 19.
The council holds a closed session beginning at 4:30 p.m. with two items on the agenda — an evaluation of the city administrator and con conference with labor negotiators (Fire Unit, Miscellaneous Unit and Professional Technical Unit).
The open session, including business from the floor, begins at 5 p.m.
Items on the agenda include the Consent Calendar (minutes of the April 5 meeting and vendor and payroll warrants); new business (a draft final year 2023-2024 budget presentation, consideration of an agreement with Caltrans for the Susan River Trail Rehabilitation Project, consideration of a resolution transferring $70,000 from the street budget to the snow removal budget, consideration of a resolution approving street closures for 13 Saturday morning Farmers Markets and five Night Markets, consideration of a resolution the Susanville Memorial Park Project, and consideration of a resolution rescinding the stage one water restrictions and returning to the city’s regular water rate).
Continuing business includes approval of the Economic Director’s job description and a discussion of the city’s project priorities.
The council also will hear the city administrator’s report and consider future agenda items.
The council’s next regularly scheduled meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 3.
