Susanville resident Chet Lowry is under arrest on charges of alleged possession of child pornography and beastiality, according to a statement from the Susanville Police Department.

Officers received and gathered information into alleged charges, and nearing the conclusion of the investigation, the SPD obtained a Ramey warrant for Lowry’s arrest.
On Wednesday, Jan. 8, deputies from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office executed the arrest warrant in Termo. Lowry was booked into the Lassen County Jail on 33 counts of possession of child pornography and an additional count of beastiality. Lowry’s bail amount was set at $122,500.
