The Susanville Symphony has announced the cancellation of its upcoming Concert on the Green in a Friday, Sept. 11 statement on Facebook.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of our Concert on the Green and any future concerts,” read the statement. “The Board received a call from the public health department informing us that we will not be allowed to have concerts until the state of California clears all counties for such functions. Therefore, we have no other option but to suspend the entire season as of this time. If and when the state moves all of us to a level that will allow such functions, we can then organize and make plans to provide concerts for all of you. We are truly sorry. We want to thank all of you for your continuous support. We hope to bring you back a concert season soon.”
