Give Zeke, the Susanville Police Department’s K-9 sniffer dog, credit for another drug arrest in Susanville.
According to a statement from the SPD, about 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, officers conducted a traffic stop on the 200 block of Russell Avenue for a traffic violation.
Daisy Mayfield
Zeke was utilized during the stop, and he made a positive alert on the vehicle. A subsequent search led to the discovery of 0.96 pounds of methamphetamine and 16.6 grams of suspected heroin.
Daisy Mayfield, 37, was arrested for “possession of controlled substances for transportation” and booked into the Lassen County Jail, according to the statement.
