The Green Revolution: Biden’s ‘Great Leap Backward
The “Great Leap Forward” was a catastrophic experiment in centralized economic planning and forced industrialization launched by Red China’s communist tyrant Mao Zedong in the late 1950s. This crazy attempt to substitute the inherent wisdom and efficiency of the free market with coercive CCP mismanagement led to one of the world’s most notorious man-made famines, resulting in the deaths of as many as 55 million Chinese.
When one examines the totalitarian Biden regime’s insistence on forcing Americans to abandon fossil fuels and other traditional, efficient, and time-tested forms of energy in favor of unreliable and erratic “renewable” sources of power, one might feel he’s in a time tunnel back to 1959 Beijing. It is almost as if Biden and his communist Democrats are determined to lead all of us by gunpoint to the nearest collective farm, or possibly, collective wind warm. It all seems to be part of Senile Joe’s “Great Leap Backward.”
It is an indisputable fact that a modern industrial economy cannot be powered simply by wind turbines and solar panels. The very idea is insane. Just recall the Texas blackouts of 2021, largely caused by frozen windmills as well as the UK’s recent experience when the wind simply stopped blowing, leading to a fast return to oil and natural gas, as well as coal. Or Germany’s five-year $36 billion failed “investment” in renewables which has actually led to half as many wind turbines being installed in 2018 as in the prior year. Last year, the Germans were forced to announce a delay in their phase-out of coal and that they would not meet their 2020 greenhouse gas reduction commitments.
Americans are being forced to endure record-high gasoline prices, fertilizer ( i.e., food ) shortages, possible trucker shortages and massive inflation ( due largely to high energy prices ), not because of war, Vladimir Putin or some kind of Act of God, but due to an Act of Biden. Biden’s puppet-masters are Maoists in many ways, believing it is possible to simply overrule the laws of supply and demand, shut down the free market, and impose by force, an extremist agenda based on a quasi-religious cult that has its roots in pantheism. The entire environmentalist movement, dating back to its birthday on the first Earth Day in 1970, sought to degrade and diminish man and his needs as well as his God-given duty to subdue the earth in favor of deifying water, soil and air in some kind of druidistic nature-worship. Since that time, this movement and its alarmist doomsayers and socialist philosophers from Paul Ehrlich to Barry Commoner have advocated a Maoist-like approach to forcing the human race into subjugation to their renewable energy scam.
And, it is a scam. Billions of dollars are being made by heavily-subsidized so-called “green” energy companies whose entire existence and relevance is dependent on never-ending taxpayer handouts. And, it’s an incestuous relationship between these companies and the political ruling class in Washington, where campaign contributions are exchanged for those subsidies. Tax subsidies alone total more than $100 billion since 1979 with more than 80% of that since 2010. Remember Solyndra?
Of course, the scam artists tell us that “renewable” energy sources are necessary to stop global warming. Or was it global cooling? They couldn’t get it straight so now they just call it “climate change,” whatever that is supposed to mean. Isn’t the climate always changing? Of course, for Marxist totalitarians insistent on forcing the rest of us to do as they say, logic, reason, and facts play no part.
The green cultists have declared war on the American people. Due to their single-minded obsession with reducing supposedly dangerous Co2 emissions (while totally ignoring the considerable environmental hazards of their sources of energy like toxic metals, fiberglass, cobalt and lithium), they are prepared to consign millions of Americans to poverty. Americans who cannot afford $80,000 to buy an electric car which is still charged by fossil fuels. Truck drivers who will be forced out of business because they can’t afford the price of diesel fuel. Highly-paid oil industry and pipeline workers whose jobs have been wiped out. Farmers forced off the land because they can’t pay for fertilizer or because their cows have been targeted for Earth-killing flatulence. For our ruling classes in Washington, Hollywood and Silicon Valley – securely cloistered and protected from the masses in their walled-off mega-mansions – Americans are simply selfish crybabies unwilling to sacrifice for the planet.
Yet, why are Americans the only ones to sacrifice when our Co2 emissions have consistently dropped in recent years, decreasing by 11 percent alone in 2020? Yet, China and India continue mining coal and burning fossil fuels and are without question the biggest and dirtiest polluters on the planet. Even the Paris Climate Accords which put U.S. manufacturers in a straitjacket don’t even apply to those nations until the year 2030, long past the date when climate change should have already destroyed the world.
Of course, Communist China would be the single greatest beneficiary of America’s Green Revolution. It would flatten the American economy, thus ensuring Beijing’s global dominance for decades to come. And, of course, key components for that Revolution come from China which has a near-stranglehold on Rare Earth Minerals, controlling about 90% of the global trade. Between 2014 and 2017, the United States imported 80 percent of its Rare Earth Minerals from China. Minerals like neodymium, dysprosium and terbium are needed in the manufacture of electric vehicle batteries, magnets for windmill generators and other high-tech products including cellphones. And, naturally, Beijing produces up to 97 percent of the components for solar panels.
With the Biden family the recipient of $31 million of corrupt largesse from the Chinese Communists, is it any wonder that their paid agent in the Oval Office would be doing everything in his power to enrich his masters in Beijing? If Republicans retake Congress in November, their first order of business should be to purge the traitors and quislings from the highest offices in our nation and bring an end to those policies whose ultimate objective seems to be reducing America to a deindustrialized, Third World colony of the Chicoms. And, the so-called Green Revolution is foremost among those policies.
